With the DGA’s online monitoring system widely use and increasing complexity, there are much more system’s reliability problems. This paper have researched and analyzed its reliability depended on the DGA equipment running status which classified the operational failure of one type DGA equipment in2012and established the fault Pareto chart, analyzed the causes and explored solutions for the cumulative incidence82.46%5failures. There’s substantially improvement of DGA system reliability, as long as effectively control of the incidence of these failure. This paper elaborated on the processes and methods of testing and made out DGA hardware system test outline, to ensure quality and improve reliability from the source of production. DGA software system and its reliable status including service program, control program based on the embedded system and BS architecture-based data platform. In which the control program design using multi-threaded work together, integrating multiple modes, self-diagnostic, alarm mechanism, and reliable testing processes. Safer and scalability system is built by packaging database operations and business logic. Interface combined with the advanced technology and framework to improve the user-friendly and interactive presentation layer web page. The system included multi-language support, charts operation, real-time device status monitoring, multi-expert fault diagnosis. Lastly, the conclusion obtained by using the pressure testing tools (LoadRunner) to assess the data platform told us that data platform fully meet the demand for a certain number of the user’s access.Finally, with qualitative and quantitative research on the DGA system reliability, analysis of the key factors of the reliability, establishment of the cause diagrams and fault tree model with BlockSim8.0, simulating the reliability, maintainability and life of this type DGA system, this paper had obtained the10years average availability was equal to91.2%.
