The Design Of Paper Generating System Based On B/S Model

Huge progress has been made in promoting informatization in many colleges. Theroutine office work of many colleges have been done with the help of informationtechnology including recruitment, financial affairs, libraries and so on. However,information technology has little been used in the tests. At present, most college still usetraditional methods to organize tests. Teachers have to spend a lot of time andmanpower to design tests and check students’ papers. If there are too many tests,teachers have to do more work and tests must become a burden to teachers. Therefore,informatization is the development trend of tests in colleges which can realize theprocess of Paper Generation Automation.In this paper, the author suggests on how to design a Paper Generation System.The author analyzes the shortcomings of the old Paper Generation System. Based onthis, the author suggests a new Paper Generation System using J2EE+SQL Server2005.In order to improve the system interface display capabilities, Struts technology isadopted in the new system. The author also does a survey of the needs of tests design ofteachers. According to modularization, the new system can be divided into five modules,including system maintenance module, teacher maintenance module, test managementmodule, Paper Generating module and paper maintenance module. Then the authordesigns each module by diagrams. In order to improve the efficiency of designing tests,this author designs a Paper Generating Algorithm. At last, the new system isimplemented and designed with test case for each function. After testing, the system isperfected based on testing results.This paper provides a full solution to the normalization construction of collegesfrom the four aspects of need-analysis, designing, applying, and testing. The system hasbeen applied to a college successfully. Through the analysis of application and thepractical results of the new system, the author verifies the feasibility and practicabilityof the Paper Generating System. The system can be applied to colleges and helpteachers design tests. Besides, the Paper Generating System can be applied in othercolleges and has a guiding significance to tests design of teachers.
