The Research And Implementation Of The Generating Paper Algorithm In Paperless Test System

With the rapid development of information technology and the popularization of network, information technology has made a profound influence on the development of the economical and the advancement of technology. The test is an important link of teaching activity; we use it to examine how the students grasp the knowledge. For the topic and pattern of the test are improving continuously and the traditional test pattern couldn't satisfy the existing test request. With the development of computer application, universities have built up their own campus net. On-line test is fast and highly effective, how to use these network resources fully and apply those in the network have become the topic that many enterprises and institutions concern about. Compared with the traditional exam system, there are several advantages in the net exam system, such as convenience in making test papers, accuracy in scoring test papers and reliability in analysis test result. In recent years, paperless test has been adopted and received obvious result.The paperless test system uses the computer technology to store and manage the test database, then completes the intelligent group papers, standardized test, the examination paper by the computer. It substitutes for the tradition testing method that based on paper and pens. The paperless test not only responses the students' real horizon objectively and fairly but also saves the workforce and the test efficiency.This article researches the development and application of computer test system then develops the B/S computer test system that based on it. This test system has the advantage of the extendibility, security and reusability. It is easy to update and maintain and only need to install the browser in the client side, doesn't need client application procedure. The paperless test system provides the function of automatic group papers, result search and students information management then I do some research of the core question-algorithm of generating test paper. According to the disadvantage of low efficiency and success rate, I adopt decimal coding genetic algorithm to establish mathematical model, propose appropriate coding method and genetic algorithm. It was shown by experiment that this algorithm can jump out partial search range and restrains the optimal solution.This system uses the B/S pattern, multilevel model that based on J2EE platform, a popular developing tool- java language and the SQL2000 database to realize a paperless test system. The system divides into system administration module, question bank management module, examinee information management module.
