Designing And Development Of Vehicle Inspection Management System

With the development of economic construction and the improvement of the massliving standard，the number of motor vehicles in China has grown rapidly in recentyears. Faced with the huge number of motor vehicles and high growth rate, how toexamine technology parameters of vehicles more efficiently, and do much betterrespond to the situation of traffic management, has become an important issue to besolved speedy now.In recent years, the traffic safety law of the PRC and its implementing regulationsformally implemented which not only enhanced the activities of motor vehicle safetyinspection, but also made a significant adjustment in inspecting policy. According to thelaw mentioned above, any social institution meeting the entry conditions can assume themotor vehicle inspection in accordance with the relevant standards. Thus a higherdemand on motor vehicle’s inspection management is required for public securitydepartments.In this context, the thesis first introduces the course of development of domesticand foreign motor vehicle inspection, analyzes the drawbacks and defects of thetraditional motor vehicle inspection work, and discusses the importance of establishinga new integrated management system through technological means.By combining the actual demand of the local inspection management, this thesisdetermines the overall planning and design of the new inspection system, and expoundsthe basic theory and key technologies such as B/S、C/S、ASP、database etc.Finally, the thesis selects local inspection institutions as experimental subjects,description and summary the specific implementation and practical application of thenew integrated management system. By combining the trends in the development ofsimilar systems at home and abroad, this thesis also makes some analysis about thefollow-up improvement finally.At present, the vehicle inspection management system has been implementedlocally. Practical application demonstrates that the new inspection system can not onlyunify the working standards, plug the original technical loopholes and improve theworking efficiency, but also create favorable conditions for improving the dailyregulatory standards and reducing traffic police force input.
