Design And Implementation Of Outpatient All-round Booking System

In our country, the hospital outpatient service is a complicated process to improvethe quality of medical services by the hospital. The shortage of medical resources andasymmetric information problems have brought great inconvenience to the patient, andat the same time, a large number of queuing patients created a crowded noisyenvironment which seriously affected the mood of receiving diagnosis and treatment.The Ministry of Health in recent years called on "to strengthen the registrationmanagement, to innovate the registration, to improve the appointment proportion", andthen issued a document, which required to carry out the real name registration systemservice pilot in national public tertiary hospitals, in order to solve the problems for themasses in "difficulties of seeing a doctor, expensive medical treatment, and long time towait for diagnosis" and other issues. Hospital administrators hope to reform the existinghospital outpatient registration, payment and other sectors to change the traditionalmode of treatment, and to improve treatment environment, in order to achieve therequirements of health authorities and to meet the growing medical needs of patients.To solve the above problems, a novel outpatient appointment system is presented.Using the computer technology, it has realized the integration of appointment,registration and payment, which may reduce the waiting time for the patient. Thepatients are able to make appointments without going to the hospital according to thedoctors round which realizes a rational allocation of resources. With that system, thehospital has established a relatively fair exchange platform for patients and haseffectively reduced the difficulties for the nonlocal patients in seeing doctors. Througheffective authentication, hospitals can eliminate the phenomenon of inverting or fryingthe number of the expert, which will improve hospital outpatient service quality, andachieve good social and economic benefits. The design of outpatient appointmentsystems can be fully integrated the idea of the United States and China’s nationalconditions, combining the limited domestic medical resources and the routine of makingappointments in the United States, which forms the situation that makingappointments is a must before seeing a doctor and registrations are also allowed inChina. In this paper, aiming at the above problems, the design and implementation of anoutpatient appointment system can meet the demand of new situation of hospital. The use of computer technology, realize the booking, registration,payment integration,exempt from patients in registration,waiting, settlement link queue time, so that patientsdo nothave to the hospital according to the doctor visits situationof appointment, to arational allocation of resources. The hospital through this channel, to give patients arelatively equal exchange platform, effectively reduce the patientsespecially visitingforeign patients to the hospital difficulty.At the same time, the hospital througheffective authentication, can put an end to speculation, experts on the phenomenon, toimprove the quality of outpatient service in hospital, and achieved good social andeconomic benefits. The design of outpatient full booking system can be fully combinedwith the idea of the United States of America and the national conditions of China, thedomestic medical resources, present situation of uneven distribution of American doctormust make an appointment with the ideaof state, formed in the Chinese doctor must alsomake an appointment, to the hospital site registered as reservationmode.
