In the report of the18th CPC National Congress,"Construction of ecological civilization" is an independent chapter and on top of agenda, providing the general framework of "Five in One" socialist construction. Some ideas, which are about promoting resource conservation, improving the utilization efficiency and energy-saving benefit and emission-reduction are firmly rooted.In order to improve the service level and core competence of Gansu Computing Center, on the basis of the cluster stability and customers’actual requirement, we have studied and collected the key data of the cluster and the auxiliary service equipments, analyzing, monitoring, stimulating and deducing the logical connection. Then, we take some effective measures from virtual clusters configuration, software optimization, improving environment and the work system management to establish the analysis model, optimization method to solve the problems that need to be finished in the field of cluster energy consumption.During our work, before optimizing the virtual clusters configuration and job scheduling, we discover that there is no obvious change in saving energy. According to the features of Lanzhou weather, we decide to introduce the fresh air system as the primary means of saving energy, and use some related auxiliary service equipments to control the energy index changes, to improve the overall utilization rate and reducing energy consumption of equipments.
