The rapid development of computer hardware and software technology and Internettechnology promotes the development of global informationization. Also, People graduallyrealize the importance of information. The timeliness and accuracy of accessing toinformation have influence to individual, the enterprise and the development and evensurvival of the country. The information which people daily contact with are more than80%related to location. Therefore, people hope to be able to get the5A(Anytime, Anywhere,Anyone, Anydevice, Anything) service under the support of existing technology. In recentyears, the fast development of mobile terminal technology, the wireless network technology,mobile communication technology and positioning technology contributed to the generationof mobile Internet that just caters to the strong desire of people for network resources andtimely information anytime and anywhere, And it is this a public demand that leads toproduce of Location-based Service(LBS).Location-based Service(LBS) combined with wireless communication technology andpositioning technology, it is a kind of value-added service of providing the informationassociated to terminal current location, and is the most development potential application in21st century.This thesis aims to the desire of people for position information and information related,analyzes and designs the system of Location-based Service(LBS) what is based on Androidintelligent mobile terminal, and realizes the function of LBS. The detailed analysis and designcontent of Location-based Service(LBS) is as follows: first of all, the paper analyzes thedevelopment course of LBS, and then puts forward a conclusive point of view thatLocation-based Service(LBS) is an inevitable outcome of the development of society, scienceand technology through by analyzing objectively the social background, the economic andtechnical background of The advent of the LBS. Combined with practical application, thepaper does the demand analysis of Location-based Service(LBS), and then comes up withnine main functions: Map operating, Personal locationing, Navigation, Fixed point inquiry,Path planning, Point of interesting inquiry, etc.. According to the realization of the function ofLBS, this paper detailedly analyzes and discusses the key techniques including Android,A-GPS and RSSI positioning technology, Wi-Fi, Mobile Internet technology and Embeddeddatabase technology, etc.. Secondly, in view of Location-based Service(LBS) is a businessbased on positioning technology, the thesis proposes a kind of positioning scheme under the combination of A-GPS and RSSI under Wi-Fi, designs its system structure, and analyzes itspositioning process. Many experimental results show that the hybrid localization method caneffectively improves the accuracy requirement. Furthermore, combined with mixedpositioning system, the paper designs Location-based Service(LBS) system structure andfunctional block diagram. And then the paper designs every function of the nine’s in detail.Finally, the thesis builds the Android development environment in Eclipse IDE, includingthe SDK installation, ADT installation, etc., realizes all functions of Location-basedService(LBS) under the development environment.The design of Location-based Service(LBS) aim to make things convenient for thepeople’s travel, self positioning and share with friends, etc., The Location-based Service(LBS)system can be transplanted into various Android intelligent mobile terminal, and is able tomeet the needs of people’s daily life.
