With the development of science and technology, underwater mobile platforms play anincreasingly important role in the marine development. Limited by their size, array scale andunderwater acoustic tracking detection technology, underwater mobile platforms can noteffectively measure their own position in a larger scale(tens of kilometers), and can notperceive the exact location and motion parameters of other sports or fixed target (buoy,submerged buoy, surface ships) within the range. If we need underwater cooperative motionwith other platform, it will greatly reduce cooperative efficiency because of the insensitivityto the change of target situation within the area of maritime operations.In order to improve the cooperative efficiency of underwater operations, this paperdesigns underwater mobile platforms position guide software. It receives surface andunderwater target position information by radio, and by means of underwater acousticcommunication, target situation within the maritime operations area can be transmitted to theunderwater mobile platform, thus provides information support for the underwater mobileplatform’s setting and adjusting motion parameters.The paper first discussed the research on the underwater motion platform position guideat home and abroad, tracking the dynamics of the development of key technologies. By adetailed analysis of the needs and background of the underwater mobile platform positionguide, the paper summarized the problem to be solved, working principle and functionalrequirements of the position guide software, planned the technical route of the softwareimplementation.According to the needs of guide software, the GPS system, underwater target positioningsystems, underwater acoustic communication terminal, radio communication system and othermeasuring and communication equipments are needed to make full use of. In order to ensurethe authenticity real-time and effectiveness of the information output by position guidesoftware, the key technology also needed to be solved, such as position correction technologyof underwater target, location information compression coding technology and locationcooperative algorithm. On the basis of a careful analysis of the characteristics of guidedsoftware and the research on software design ideas, software modules are developed under theenvironment of visualization software C++Builder, and the program difficulties andinnovation point are presented.Finally, according to the application of the guide software,the paper presents a method of debugging and verification the guide software by data simulator, and the design of the datasimulator function are given. The result of system debugging in the laboratory showed that theposition guide software achieves the design function, and achieves to the engineeringapplication standard.
