Recently MIMO-OFDM technology has become one of the hot spots of underwateracoustic communication. Combined the MIMO technology with OFDM technology they canachieve high-speed data communication and overcome the fading efficiently。 TheCompressed Sensing technology take the use of sparse characteristics of the underwateracoustic channel, significantly improve the communication quality in low SNR.This paper bases on MIMO-OFDM communication system, study the performance ofcommunication both on receives diversity and sending diversity. First, the paper discusses theeffect of communication system performance by different ways of collection while thetransmitter using space-time blocks coding technique. Simulation and the tank experiments indifferent situation show that this measure is feasible.According to the characteristics of the underwater acoustic channel, the decoding partuse compressed sensing technology. Compared the match tracking algorithm and Orthogonalmatch tracking algorithm in this technology with the traditional least squares estimationalgorithm, as can be seen from the results that the compressed sensing technology in low SNRconditions can still achieve reliable communication by small amount of pilot information. This algorithm is verified in the tank experiment.
