Design And Development Of Cash-In-Transit Service System

With the progress of times, Cash-In-Transit (CIT in short) service management in thebanking system has put forward higher requirements on safety and eiffciency. The bank’s CITservice gradually from manual conversion to digital, intelligent. Compared with the traditionaloperation and management information platform, the traditional manual operation, too manyman-made factors, affect the entire bank cash escort business management and development.The current manual management and manual operation mode has not been able to satisyf theneeds for business development, in urgent need of a set of information management system tostandardize the management and improve the existing ’work lfow. Thats how CIT servicesystem is born, providing a powerful and complete modern escort management method,which also plays as a surveillance tool for the bank.This thesis is aimed to design a CIT service system to solve problems of CIT industry,by integrating planning escort service network and application of RFID equipment, to realizeon-time tracing with a handheld PDA via GPRS, based on barcode and RFID tags. By usingbiomass technology and FRID tags，this system realized centralized management of thepersonnel management, cash cassette management, bank branch management and escort gunmanagement. It provides query services including handover logs and two way identiifcationvia ifngerprint veriifcation technology. Biological recognition technology minimize theinfluence of manmade mal-operation and thus larges reduces the harm brought by it.Through the management of the transport plan, the system provides lfexibility andvariety for management, including transit planning, approval, delete, modiyf，query, and thusthe task list for each escort staff，like driver, security guards and handling staff.Through datacollection, the system can proactively acquire escort data as much as possible, which canlargely avoid manmade oversight and improve work eiffciency，such as the daily vaultmanagement.The task monitoring functions enables real-time surveillance of escort tasks, andgive alarms and record of the illegal behavior.This system strengthen the connection and coordination between departments in escortcompany and plays an important role in information exchange and resource sharing. And italso promotes standardization of business operation.Now we can offers an information system to manage daily operation for cash escortcompany, which also provides reference and suggestion for business development in theaspect of data analysis.
