Design And Implementation Of A Management System For Students’ Sports Scores Based On Php

In recent years, computer technology has entered the era of rapid development, and itsapplication is more and more widespread in people’s lives. Computer technology has had itsimpact on all areas, even as it combines with other subjects to develop to a separatediscipline——application of computer，which study computer applications in various fieldssuch as theory, method, technology and systems, information system, factory automation,office automation, home automation, expert system, pattern recognition, machine translationand so on. Management information system is one of the important applications.According to Kenneth C. Laudon and Jane Price Laudon in their book ManagementInformation Systems: A Contemporary Perspective, an information system is "a set ofprocedures that collects (or retrieves), processes, stores, and disseminates information tosupport decision making and control." In most cases, information systems are formal,computer based systems that play an integral role in organizations. It provide managers withreports and, in some cases, on-line access to the organization’s current performance andhistorical records.Sports score management system is a kind of management information system forstudents’ achievement management. With the development of computer technology, variousmanagement information systems are more and more used to speed up the collection andstatistics of data. Traditional student sports statistics achievement, with complicated fillings,difficult query and takes up more space with a lot of paper, which waste of resources, andbrought great inconvenience to the PE teachers. The purpose of using sports scoremanagement system is to help PE teachers to manage student’s sports score moreconveniently, better grasp of the indicators for each student body, which also can better guidethe student to keep fit.This paper uses the computer language PHP, combined with MYSQL database, andestablishes student sports score management system based on PHP. The system includesstudent achievement entry, and many other processes such as modify, delete, print. There are three different login: administrator, teachers and students, corresponding tothree different operating authorities in descending way. This management system couldmeet the practical application of management of school sports performance, bringconvenience to the vast number of PE teachers, and improve the efficiency of teachingmanagement.
