The Design And Implementation Of The Server Resource Management System For Cloud Computing Environment

In the current cloud computing environment, the server resource management system as the core of cloud computing IAAS service systems and platforms, its importance and criticality are no doubt.Currently, there are three basic problems in the industry’s server resource management system in time for cloud computing environment.First,the lack of security in the system overall security architecture,which means that the entire cloud computing IAAS/PAAS/SAAS lack of management on the three-tier secutity services,so the upper user access,user data and business logic of security and reliablity are very poor. Secondly, most of the current cloud-oriented management system for the server resources to the virtual machines as a resource allocation unit, but there are some gaps between the virtual machine efficiency management and host efficiency management. Finally, the cloud computing environment means that the server’s large-scale and quantity, however current industry server resource management system rarely takes into account the energy consumption of the server-based energy management and scheduling problems.The project designed and implemented the cloud computing environment for server resource management platform.The platform for cloud computing environment, using resource pools,hosts,virtual machines as the units of measurement,implemented lifecycle management and monitoring of the cloud computing cluster environment,computing,storage and network resource. What’s more, for the current cloud computing industry in system security,operational efficiency and green energy-saving three key aspects of the problems encountered were targeted effectively optimize improvements and enhancements.This paper designed and implemented a kind of platform prototype for the cloud computing environment for server resource management platform prototype,which was a central node within the organization of the enterprise deployment of server resources.The platform did abstration and aggregation of the server Operating system’s CPU and memory resources, so it unified the management and distribution in the global virtual network,virtual machine image template resource.Based on the above server resource management platform, this paper focused on the entire server management system from security controls,the use of three aspects of efficiency and the improvment for the server resource management platform. In the security architecture in the management platform dimensions, by adding multi-factor authentication mechanism, the main character from two groups and mandatory access control mechanisms and audit mechanisms enhanced; efficient use of the virtual machine, the virtual machine to create efficient, virtual machine image storage and virtual machine monitors three aspects of work; cloud-oriented energy management in server environments by improving scheduling algorithm, migration efficiency and load balancing strategy entire server cluster environment to achieve energy saving.Server resource management system based on the design idea, basically reached the cloud computing environment server resource management objectives, and because in the management of security, access, efficiency and resource scheduling improvements, better meet the cloud computing environment Server Resource Manager needs.
