Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a self-organized network formed through wirelesscommunication way. It is composed by a large number of tiny sensor nodes. These nodes cancooperatively monitor physical or environmental conditions in different regions. Thedevelopment of WSN originated from the battlefield monitoring and military application, and isnow widely used in civilian areas, such as environment monitoring, traffic control, intelligenthome furnishing etc. Security is a key problem to build WSN network, its own characteristicsdetermine its security problem is different from the traditional network. As a key tache of WSNsecurity, key management involves many aspects of networks and it is the premise to realizesome security mechanisms such as authentication and secure routing. Therefore, the design of aperfect key management scheme is essential to the security of WSN.This paper presents two different key pre-distribution schemes which in accordance with thedeployment of key distribution, key path shared-key discovery and establishment these threepre-distribution steps and gives the performance analysis and evaluation of the schemes.The main work includes the following two aspects:(1) A key pre-distribution scheme based on Hash mechanism was proposed, which extendedthe ideas of the q-composite key pre-distribution scheme put forward by Chan et al. Make full useof the characteristics of one-way Hash function, this scheme use the Hash function preload thekeys in the process of key pre-distribution, efficiently hide part of the keys information whichstored in the nodes. The disclosure of some keys reveals only derived versions, which cannot beused to compromise other links in the network using backward keys. The simulation results showthat our solution enhances the network resiliency compared to q-composite scheme while itguarantees the same secure connectivity coverage, storage and communication performance.(2) On the basis of Multiple-Space Key Pre-Distribution Scheme and combined with thedeployment knowledge and clustering idea, this paper presents a new key distribution scheme forwireless sensor network. By dividing the network into multiple hexagonal domains, this schemeput the nodes into different cluster, and the key space corresponding to the cluster. In this scheme,the cluster nodes using hierarchical key pre-distribution scheme sharing key discovery, andbetween the cluster nodes and common nodes we use a single Hash computation way to calculatethe shared key. Theoretic studies and figures of simulation show that the proposed schemeprovides better performance in security in the condition of the network is fully connected.
