With the rapid development of mobile internet, the way of online video editing isundergone tremendous changes. Video editing began to shift from the traditional PC sideto mobile terminal and therefore requires a powerful video editing system to complete thevideo online editing in the mobile environment. Existing local video editing systems of themobile terminal face that computing power and battery life is limited and the scalabilityand practicality is poor, the waiting time of video editing is long. It is difficult to satisfythe complex needs of mobile users for video editing.For video editing from the local migration to the cloud, it result in the problem ofvideo editing time increases and the user experience declines. The proposed index-treebased remote video editing management strategy, studying a video-based cloud editingshared data structure, the establishment of the index tree of video clip, key-frames framestructure. When the video editor performs cut editing, it need to quickly scan a clip slice,select a series of clip points and preview the editing effects. These editing operations needto quickly perform, the current online editing systems exit the problem that the responsetime of edit operation is too long. Through the frame structure of video clips’ index tree,the video chunks in the index tree is composed of the video chunks to be clip, the systemcan create a fast frame-to-frame index, find the most appropriate clip points to completethe editing operation. The proposed EDL model based remote video editing strategy, theclient maintains a EDL that records the information of video clips. When the user is readyto implement the final cut of videos, the client requests the server compile EDL to producea new video clip. The server compiles EDL and copys the relevant frames to the newindex tree. The cloud can quickly executes the client’s editing requests. The remote videoediting strategy based on above models is suitable for frame-accurate editing of videostreaming and adaptive editing of mobile devices.The editing algorithm of video editing system that based on the index of key frameshave improved the editing experience of mobile users. System testing shows that thissystem is more efficient to the existing timeline model-based online editing system, videoediting time increased by an average of8.3%, it reduces the computation overhead andenergy consumption overhead of the mobile terminal.
