This article will make a vivid understanding of this new technology byillustrating introduce of automated technical and practical engineering application.RFT is an automated testing software based on Eclipse platform, which is developedby IBM, because it supports for Java language and has improved development process, thesoftware has powerful function and majority of users, which is popular in large firms.This Paper introduces current mainstream automatic testing software RFT andautomated test projects encountered in real work, which systematically and accuratelyrestores the tremendous effect produced in practical automated test work. At first, theprinciples of RFT software are introduced in this paper, which made the readers having apreliminary understanding to the software function and test automation frameworkthrough the introduction; then by using Hangzhou HuaWei-3COM intelligent networkmanagement software (iMC) as an example, this paper has carried on demanding analysisand function design of the WEB interface automated test faced in the practical engineering,gave examples of testing cases; at last, compile automation scripts according to the designof the automated test cases, through running and debugging the scripts,find the existingproblems in the design and give solutions.This paper makes a step-by-step introduction toautomated test development process via the practical works, showing huge advantages ofautomated test relative to manual test.
