The study of weak signal under strong noise detection has always been the hot anddifficulties for domestic and foreign scholars. The traditional methods of weak signaldetection, input signal-to-noise ratio threshold subject to certain restrictions, it is difficult tofurther reduce. In recent years, with the continuous development of nonlinear science,rapidly are developed detection methods based on chaos to make up the deficiencies oftraditional methods. Noise suppression range and signal to noise ratio limit has reached anew breakthrough. This article focuses on research amplitude detection of weak signal withFloquet exponent.In this paper, two important thresholds of Duffing chaotic oscillator are discussed firstby using the Melnikov method and Lyapunov exponents’ method, and verified thecorrectness of the threshold by simulation results; secondly, a simulation model isestablished on experiments to verify measurement system based weak sinusoidal signaldetection performance. Finally, detection scheme for the characteristic parameters,achieving weak signal detection based on chaos to achieve a weak signal amplitudeestimate.
