Nanometer materials is the most promising materials in the21st century.Electrodeposition method using for the preparation of high purity metal oxidenanomaterials is a new application of electrochemical method, and the efficiency ofelectrodeposition is directly related to power supply features. In order to improve theefficiency and effectiveness of Preparation of metal oxide nanomaterials usingelectrodeposition method, this paper designed a kind of modulation reversing pulsepower supply.Acording to the characteristics of pulse electrodeposition and the power’svarious parameters on the effect of electroplating process, proposed the indicators ofelectrodeposition dc pulse power supply: pulse form is using high frequency tomodulate low frequency, power supply frequency is adjustable from60to500Hz, thereversing frequency is from6to30Hz,dead band time is10us,the minimum peakcurrent is500A, duty cycle is adjustable from10%to95%,and the pulse power isbidirectional. In the design, using narrow pulse is to make the sediment particles fineand smooth, reversing is to eliminate the influence of air bubbles sothat the currentdensity can be improved. In order to achieve the power index and have high costperformance, The power’s main circuit structure is using cheap power deviceMOSFET,applying paralleled current sharing technology to expanded supply currentand power, starting from the structure and thermal design, put forward the overallpower solution. This paper discusses the buffer circuit, modulation circuit and thedesign of drive circuit.This paper also discusses the problems and how to solve them when debuggingthe power supply in detail from engineering experience. Through debugging andtest,this power achieves the design indicators and can make nanomaterials as pulseelectroplating power supply in laboratory.
