360°panorama can be called Virtual reality panorama or three-dimensionalpanoramic view.The technology of three-dimensional panoramic view is one of thebranches of virtual reality and it’s developing in great speed and becoming popular.It’s based on sequence of pictures and is an important research in recent years, whichbuild the image by the model of the virtual scene rendering; you can express thesurrounding environment information completely, and provides a new perspective tobring the true feeling of “virtual reality” to viewers. Because of these characteristics,the three-dimensional digital panorama technique has already widely used in manyareas, such as digital panorama campus, three-dimensional network business, medical,aviation, real estate, tourism landscape display, and etc. Due to its excellent visualeffect, and meeting with most people’s observation habits, so this research is to studythe generation of spherical panorama technology.This article first combined domestic and international development of virtualreality research status, then basic concepts of panoramic technology and itsadvantages is introduced. Then introduced the generate flow of the three-dimensionalpanoramic, including the choice of image acquisition devices, shoot notes, imagepreprocessing, image stitching, image integration, spherical anti-basic knowledge ofthe projection, distortion correction of spherical projection, post-production and otherrelated steps. And focus in-depth study of image splicing and fusion algorithm, basedon the previous algorithm’s advantages we improved it, and experiments show thatthe improved algorithm has better stitching quality than improved.And then, frompractical perspective, the application skills are comprehensively introduced in thepaper, which include the panoramic field of technology hardware and technicalrequirements of panoramic image acquisition, combined with the actual case of thepanoramic image stitching, panorama image generation and virtual roaming campusBuilding for the production of the system.
