With the rapid development of the technology, the application of Radio FrequencyIdentification (RFID) is the important symbol of intelligent. RFID technologyapplication range widening, the maturity of technology has been extended. it attracts theattention of the library information management researchers because of itscharacteristics of non-contact, radiation direction flexible, the efficiency of readingand writing data, the large capacity of storage information. Based on these, the locationapplication of the RFID technology becomes one of the important research subjects ofuniversities and institutions. In order to improve the efficiency of the borrower andlibrary manager, more and more researchers bring in the RFID technology. Because ofthat, this paper issued the concept of intelligent library system, it can offer the correctbook’s location rapidly to readers, simplifying the procedure and improving the speed.This paper select the suitable radio frequency spectrum and tag type in libraryenvironment with the analysis of RFID application advantages and with the researchobject of intelligent system in university library. The paper analysis the needs ofintelligent shelf system to the book searching in the library, design the framework ofRFID library intelligent shelf system and built a system use case model.,define the classof objects in the system according to the entity element. It forms tri-system of intelligentshelf system based on RFID in the analysis of its form from the hardware and thesoftware. To RFID indoor localization algorithm model, based on the real needs of theintelligent shelf in apply of books location, this paper select a suitable RFID indoorlocation algorithm with the analyzing of advantages and disadvantages of the algorithmtype. It improves the LANDMARC algorithm and designs the location system modeland the book accurate positioning algorithm from the choice of received signal strength,refers to the label distribution, sets of the nearest neighbor numbers and the algorithmweights. And the intelligent bookshelf system with RFID indoor localization algorithmeffectively improves the localization accuracy according to the analysis of theexperimental data in simulation and performance.Based on the realization of theimportant parts, this paper set up the position identification system of the intelligentbookshelf, distributing the tag information in internal memory.Then the paper analysisand design the system database. According to the demand application the paper provides a library intelligentbookshelf system analysis method and the design train of thought, has the very highapplication promotion value, it helps to realize the intelligent management and improvethe level of library services and provides a useful reference solution for the current bookpositioning system and the development of intelligent shelves system.
