With the rapid development of three-dimensional technology,3DTV turns into a part of thesocial life. A lot of people have some adverse reactions, such as dizziness, blurred vision, vomiting, and so on when watching and after watching3DTV. It migth be harmful to human health.Electroencephalography (EEG) which comes from the volunteer is used to analyze the factors offatigue after watching3DTV, which is recorded in real time. The result would be the technicalstandard of3DTV in the future. The main contents and innovative result of this study are as follows:(1) analyzing of the pretreatment in EEG; using ICA to separate the EOG signal from an EEGsignal, which excludes the artifact signal in the useful signal; compared wavelet packet transform andFFT in the extracted EEG major characteristic wave.(2) studying the fatigue evaluation of watching3DTV through a combination of subjectiveassessment and EEG; The results show that the EEG signal was effective for classifying fatigue ofwatching3DTV because of the significance level.(3) from the perspective of correlation, combined the subjective assessment with EEG, therelationship between the two parameters of3D video and fatigue has been investigated: on one hand, the more the percentage of the3D scene increase, the more significant fatigue is; EEG powerspectrum of the center of gravity move to the low frequency, and the frequency of over half of thecomponent signal is decrease; With the mean and the standard deviation of the depth of field (the ratioof jump in and jump out) increase, the more significant fatigue is; on the other hand, the mean and thestandard deviation of the depth of field (the ratio of jump in and jump out) have an influence on thesubjective assessment, the more the percentage of the3D scenes increases, the mean and the standarddeviation of the depth of field (the ratio of jump in and jump out) increase, the audience are morelikely to feel fatigue.
