With the enlargement of iron and steel enterprise production scale and the rapiddevelopment of technology, the blast furnace capacity becomes bigger and the productiontechnique becomes more complex, the blast furnace control depends on the temperature,pressure and other metre data around the blast furnace body, and real charge weight ofstorehouses of different kinds of material, real scattering material valve opening, theleaning motor position and rotation motor running circle amount and other importantparameter more deeply. The charging ratio calculation becomes more complex too.So, it isvery imperative to design a set of self-content computer management system to fulfillthese tasks. It is must be solved that how to design reasonable network and choose highperformance and safe reliable database server, communitation computer,managementcomputer and operation computer. The system software structure must be decided, and itis essencial how to choose high performance database server management software,communiton development software and operation system development software with lowprice and safe reliable,easy to maintain. To satisfy the reliability, expansibility and openingand adapt the requirement of future, seeing about our domestic blast furnace computermanagement system and overseas’, the3#Blast Furnace computer management system ofTangshan Iron&Steel Co. Ltd is designed.Firstly, many blast furnace management system of our domestic and oversea’sIron&Steel Co. are analysed, then all the system hardware and the construction ofsoftware and the key problems to be solved are fixed on with our real situation considered.Secondly, we analyzed the system and fixed on the software design scheme, anddesigned the computer management system database based on the principle of legibility,reliability and practicability.Thirdly, by compairing and feasibility test, we confirm to use Visual Basic6.0as thecommunication designing software. Safe and reliable OPC communitcation interfacetechnology provided by Rockwell automaiton ControlNet is selected to carry out the dataexchange between level1and computer management system.Forthly, the powerfull Delphi7.0developing software is applied to design all the operatation displays of the management system, all the reports are designed by using it’sinline Rave report control, and all the trendline by Chartfx control.Finally, the whole computer management system simulation debugging is described.the real data of Blast furnace is imported to test all the reports and trends and somedisplays. some random Tag and data are put into the PLC CPU, the data is read and writenfrom level1to the BF computer management software to test tables,triggers, proceduresand almost all the functions and the reliability of this system.
