In order to achieve the seamless coverage of global mobile communicationsystem, especially the communication coverage in remote areas, at sea, and undermajor events, the satellite mobile communication system is urgent needed to join.However, the wireless channel of satellite mobile communication is a typical fadingchannel. And, satellite mobile communication needs to establish visualcommunication link to ensure a reliable communication. These problems seriouslyaffected the service availability.In recent years, due to the significant capacity and outstanding performance ofMIMO technology, MIMO system is deeply studied.But using classical MIMOmethod in mobile satellite communication is not appropriate. The reason is that it isdifficult to mount a multiple antennas on the wireless terminal, and the size,hardware complexity and power consumption of the mobile satellite communicationequipment are limited. Therefore, collaborative communication is introduced toreplace the classical MIMO method. The basic idea of collaborative communicationis as follows. According to the radio characteristics of wireless channel, form avirtual MIMO by sharing each node’s antenna in the distributed network, in order toobtain system gain. Therefore, collaborative communication takes more and moreattention in the study of future wireless communication system. Especially, theapplication prospect in satellite mobile communication system is very good.Therefore, this paper will do in-depth study on the performance of the application ofcollaborative communication model in mobile satellite communication system.First of all, summarize to the research status at home and abroad of this paper’stopic, and analyze the existing problem. Do theoretical analysis of the necessity andfeasibility of applying collaborative communication technology in the mobilesatellite communication system. On the basis of the theoretical analysis, do in-depthstudy and analysis on several typical models of collaborative communicationtechnology, which includs amplify-and-forward, detect-and-forward, coded-and-cooperation, and problems and possible effective improvement method of usingthese models in the mobile satellite communication systems. On the basis of theestablished models, analyze and compare interrupt probability of various typicalcollaborative communication models, and compare it with uncooperated model;Then, do theory analysis of channel error correction coding and network codingwhich are suitable for mobile satellite communication system. Do further researchof coding structure, advantages for used in satellite mobile communication system,and decoding method of AR4JA code, and the definition, typical construction method, method characteristics of network coding; Finally, the paper analyzesseveral classical channel models needed to be used in the mobile satellitecommunication system. Then according to the need, construct two satellite mobilecommunication system models, which are respectively used to analyze two usersand more than two users collaboration communication system. According to theestablished models and theoretical analysis in previous sections, do simulation,analysis and performance comparison of all kinds of cooperation modes in thesatellite mobile communication system step by step.
