The technical specification used for next generation satellite mobile communication system is compatible with 3 GPP LTE.This system has much advantage such as high spectrum efficiency,flexibility for bandwidth allocation and compatible IP protocol etc.,which improves the integrated capability of the system.This system is used in groud just recently,so many problems must be researched and resolved when this system is used in satellite condition.Possiblly there are some questions occured for example high peak average rate for transporting signal,limiting for rate of transmission caused by large attenuation,difficulty for closed loop controlling caused by long time delay,etc..Front problems will be solved through analyzing,emulating and verificating in many ways.This dissertation studied the general development of satellite mobile communication in domestic and international.The design way of ground LTE mobile communication system is referenced for realizing verification system of satellite mobile communication base on LTE.The characteristic of ground LTE system is introduced and the speciality of the satellite LTE system is analyzed in this dissertation.The satellite mobile communication system based on LTE is same to ground LTE system in some respects,such as main frame,wireless signaling process,but there are some new requirements for terminal random accessing,feedback mechanisms and adaptability of HARQ mechanism,because of long time delay,link attenuation and doppler frequency shift in satellite channel.The total solution is proposed and the system framework is partitioned for satellite mobile communication verification system base on LTE in this dissertation.The platform is confirmed for main equipments in the system,the technology type of wireless transmission is indicated for the system,the top-level design for system configuration is finished.The design way is described for the crusical eauipment,such as emulator for ground station,emulator for terminal,emulator for satellite channel,etc..From point of implementation,the function units is disintegrated for main system equipments and the main software and hardware framework is confirmed for the devices.The system testing is completed for basic fuctions such as voice service,video service,FTP download service and protocol compatibility,and the testing results showed that the verification system of satellite mobile communication base on LTE had reached the expected target;The follow-up research work was forecasted and the goal and direction was confirmed for the system optimizing.
