AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) is the automation devices which is wideapplicability and return fast that can improve the level of production and flexibleconfiguration.Our focus in the12th Five-Year Plan proposed upgrading of themanufacturing industry and enhancing the core competitiveness ofenterprises, under this circumstances,to explore how to design suitable forindustrial applications and control AGV systems effectively has practical significance.This article is based on a key research project as a theoretical basis which is ofHubei University of technology Electromechanical Research Institute," R&D andapplication of automated guided transport systems ",and combined with XiangyangFengshen automobile Company project requirements, design a set of AGV systemwith automatic guidance, automatic obstacle avoidance, automatic transfer andnetwork monitoring and management.Firstly,through access to domestic and international data,analyzed the currentsituation and development trend of the development of AGV technology, putsforward the main content and significance of this article,and do some analysis of thekey technology of AGV system.Then complete the overall design of AGV system,analyzes the main function ofthe system,the composition of AGV system include each module functions,thehuman-computer interface design.Secondly,from hardware selection,control theory to other several aspects,do a detailed analysis and elaboration of the key technology of AGV ground controlsystems,including guided detection, motor drive control, etc. Focuses on theworking principle of the PLC, network communication protocols and communication,and to build a network system which can monitor and manage AGVS. Thirdly,do aanalysis of and research for the guidance system by fuzzy controller and simulationusing MATLAB software, and to analyze the results.Finally, analysis of software control flow of the system, and testing the design ofAGV experimental analysis of performance, according to test results show that theAGV meet the project requirements,and the control of the control system isreasonable and effective.
