Among the radar intelligence transmission modes, shortwave has the advantages such asset up easily, portable, strong invulnerability and the ability for long distance and so on,which compared with other transmission modes like the wired, the satellite, ultrashort waveetc, and shortwave has been used as the last safeguard method by the military because of itsspecial advantages. However, the shortwave channel’s bandwidth is narrow, its channel rateis low, and it has high bit error rate etc, with the intelligence data quantity’s dramaticincrease, there are contradictions between the channel capacity and the huge amount ofinformation data. At the same time, the shortwave channel rate’s increase is more and moredifficult due to the reasons such that power, frequency antenna, modulation anddemodulation technology etc. Based on this background, this article launches some researchon the radar intelligence from the angle of information source, proposes a kind losslessencoding and decoding schem, which could be apply to any character intelligence and has aimportant meaning for gain intelligence accurately in real time, grasp the dynamic of war.Firstly, the article introduces the basic theory of lossless data compression, besides,make an analysis through compared the run-length coding, LZW coding, Huffman codingand arithmetic coding about the inferiority along and the scope of application of the losslesscoding algorithm.Secondly, a new format radar intelligence has been defined through analysis its basicelements, design four compression scheme take it as a example, which are interframe coding,arithmetic coding, combined Huffman coding and interframe coding, binary arithmeticcoder. Among them, the scheme1bring in the interframe coding and intraframe coding ofvideo compression; the scheme2making a optimization on arithmetic coding; the scheme3using interframe coding on radar intelligence firstly, after that, apply the Huffman coding onthe I fream intelligence and the residual between I and P fream intelligence; the scheme4borrows the idea of Q-Coder. Then, through comparison, analysis and test, point out thattake interframe coding, arithmetic coder as the first compression and take the binaryarithmetic coder as the second compression, which is the last compression scheme aboutradar intelligence. In addition, this thesis analysis the influence on delay by DCE, DTE andchannel in the data communication, and then put forward the delay design method; Afterthat, put forward the design of transmission strategy and prevent transmission error, themethod of intelligence and other business undertaken by the same channel, perfecting the overall design of radar information coding scheme.Finally, complete the software implementation of radar intelligence coding scheme, anddescribes of the final result through the delay, capability and reliability by make a largeamount of data test. The tests show that the scheme proposed in this thesis obtain a goodcompression effect, at the same time, gets some benefits such as reduce the delay andstorage capacity, lower the transmission requirements, which could save storage,communications and other resources greatly.
