In recent years, with the development of computer networks, fieldbus, embeddedsystems technology, Ship ward call system function has become more and more powerful.With the ship of the development of integrated automation level, Ship ward call system notonly meet to play a role as a single subsystem, but also more actively integrated automationdirection to move closer to the whole ship. Ward call system increasingly high requirementsin order to conform to the development of the warship integrated automation and modernships, the development of an anti-jamming capability, good compatibility, high performanceward call system has become inevitable.A warship ward call system project as research background in this paper, on the basisof the call system overall grasp of the ship ward, A design of ward call system design forship based on CAN-Modbus/UDP protocol conversion was complished. ARM7TDMIcore-based embedded microprocessor LPC2368as the core of the hardware platform wasSelected, μC/OS-II embedded operating system as the software platform, through theanalysis and comparison of the TCP protocol and UDP protocol, The Modbus/UDP protocolas Industrial Ethernet Transfer Protocol was selected, and the system’s real-time andaccuracy was enhanced, and design CAN bus protocol to Modbus/UDP protocol conversion.After the design is completed, call and alarm functions, communication efficiency is tested,and experiment of system real-time performance and reliability is finished, through trial andfull data analysis and comparison, confirmed design of the ward call system in this paper,not only meet the commercial ward call system requirements, But also moreanti-interference ability and small size, scalability and compatibility advantages.The main work in this paper include the following aspects:1. To study the CAN protocol, Modbus protocol as well as the basic principle andworking process of the TCP/IP protocol, select the appropriate network protocol systemdesigned for this project. And Ship ward call the overall structure of the system has beenimproved, complete the framework of the system hardware and software platform.2. Designed the system hardware, including the main components of the circuit designbased on the LPC2368chip acquisition module and the host module circuit design,CTM8251AT chip with DM9161AEP chip.3. Designed the system software part, including the part of call answering system basedon μC/OS-II, CAN bus parts, Modbus/UDP part, CAN-Modbus/UDP convert part of software design, as well as remote monitoring client configuration software design andImplementation.4. To tese the overall Call alarm function, and the communication efficiency, Doexperiments of system real-time and reliability comparative, and the conclusion.
