The quantum dot material has tunable luminescence spectrum with extremely narrowemission, high stability and high luminous efficiency. Light-emitting diodes with quantumdot luminophores show promise in the development of next-generation displays after theLCD and OLED display technology. With self-luminous, high color purity, low energyconsumption, image stabilization, wide range of viewing angle, rich colors, high resolution,the quantum dot light-emitting diode displays (QLED Displays) show broad applicationprospect in national defense and aerospace, intelligence and energy.This paper introduces the luminescence properties, level structure of quantum dotmaterials, and the research status of quantum dot light emitting devices. This paperintroduces the working principle of CRT displays, LCD displays, LED displays, andOLED displays. The realization method of full-color pixel is analyzed. Then the workingprinciple and characteristics of different driving mode are introduced. Based ontrichromatic theory, using pulse width modulation to control the RGB tricolor LED lampconstructed a full-color light-emitting pixel. By setting the RGB value through the PCsoftware, hardware circuit board controls the brightness of RGB lamp to mix a variety ofdifferent colors.According to the research route of the project, that named “The basic study of displaydesign in using of Quantum dots”,the theoretical analysis and structural validation wasdone.The luminescence mechanism of CdSe/ZnS core-shell type quantum dot material andthe working principle of quantum dots electroluminescent device have been studied.The characteristics of quantum dot electroluminescent devices that with differentstructure have been studied. The device structure of quantum dot electroluminescentdevices has been determined. The material used in each function layer of quantum dotelectroluminescent devices was chosen.Through the preparation of quantum dot electroluminescent devices, the effectivenessof device structure is verified. The structure of Glass/ITO/NPB/QDs/Alq3/Al is effective forelectroluminescent emitting.
