With the development of economy and technology, people put forward the higherrequest to mobile communication. Future mobile communication should base on the all IPnetwork and offers much higher data speeds. The forth generation represented by LTEmobile communication is born at this right moment. LTE employs multiple-input andmultiple-output (MIMO), Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) as coretechnology, which can greatly improve band efficiency and access speed. Physical uplinkshared channel (PUSCH) carries the payload data, witch includes information of controland traffic data of UE. So, uplink receiver is key part of eNodeB baseband.Firstly, the paper gives a brief introduction of the development background andsystem architecture of LTE. Then the paper reviews the concept of physical uplinkresources on both time and frequency domain. Then, the detail transmit procedure of UE,including base band modulation of both data and reference signal, transmit procedure isdescribed.And according to the characters of wireless channel and PUSCH, detail description ofuplink receiver algorithm is shown as followed, which includes signal compensation,synchronization based on correlation function,channel estimation and equalization withthe formula method of least square and minimum mean square error. Moreover, we realizethe algorithm above on picoArray array digital signal processor (DSP) with assemblylanguage. Especially, the paper gives details of algorithm, which is hard to realize with thefeature of multiple-cores of array DSP. At the last section, paper is reviewed and futurework is prospected.In this paper, we design a receiver of LTE PUSCH channel. And the receiver hasbeen tested under different experimental channel environment. It can meet the designrequirements of bit error rate, block error rate and transmission rate, which hascomparatively strong practicality and high economic value.
