With the aging of the server virtualization technology, the amount of the server thatthe data center deploys increases significantly. In the virtualization cloud, computingresources can expand as needed and be deployed flexibly due to the implement of thevitual machine`s migration function. In order to ensure the best possibility that externalusers`access to the virtual machine and the application running on the virtual machinewhich caused by the migration of the virtual machine shall not be affected, it must p rovideterminal customers a continuous and reliable service, according to this, we raise a virtualmachine oriented network management system which is based on EVB(Edge VirtualBridging) technology and aiming at network layer of the data center server--ConnectionResource Management.The system is a network management system called CRM using the B/S structure, wechoose JAVA, Eclipse as the IDE, use the Hibernate+Spring+JSF integrated framework.According to the software engineering methods, at first we do a system needs analysis,confirm the major function and then using UML modeling technology, we make the usecase diagram of the system gradually, and do the overall design of the system. Then bydividing the system into six parts, which are the quick start、edge switch management、VSI TYPE management、network、connection management、migration management andplugin management for the detailed design of the system, we do the system design indetail including UI design and implement, backing bean implement, the thr ee layerarchitecture code implement, XML profiles deployment based on the business and thebackground TCL script impelment. The major of this thesis is to elaborate the analysis,design and the implement of the VSI TYPE management module, this module deploy theservice template and the business parameters by using XML, use JAXB to resolve theXML profiles, use the faces component of JSF to generate the related pages, by doingthese, it can make the system more robust and scalable.Practice has provided that, by managing the edge switch which has realized the EVBtechnology, the system can do the necessary actions needed by the starting, closing and migration of the virtual machine automatically by monitoring the actions and status of thevirtual machine which access to the net through the above switches. According to thisadvantage, the operation and management of the workers is facilitated significantly, at thesame time, the continuity of the ACL and QoS business based on the switch ports can beensured, also the safety and reliability of the messages transferring between virtualmachine and net has been effectively protected.
