With the rapid development of modern optical design and mechanical technicians,the Micro-Optics devices especially Micro Lens and Micro Lens Array are apply inmore and more fields. Such as: Optical Communication, Optical Sensing, Optical SpaceTechnology, Optical Information Processing, and Modern Lighting, etc. Thedevelopment of Semiconductor lighting technology provides a new direction ofdevelopment to micro-optics device in the21st Century. So the design, production andapplication of Micro-Optics face a new challenge.This paper mainly do related to the research surrounding the Micro-lens arrayapplied to the LED light source package.1.First do research adequately on LED light source package design, test principleby reading a large number of recent literature. We optimize the package structure of theLED light source,and give a new type design of packaging structure-multireflector cupLED package(MRCOB) structure. The experiment proved that light source have thelight extraction efficiency increased approximately5%, the uniform distribution of lightintensity, light stability engage used MRCOB package.2. By comparativing analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the Micro-lensArray and the Conventional Lens, we have the obvious advantages the Micro-lens Arrayapplied LED light source package. The specific design of Micro-lens Array meet theLED light source packaging requirements. In order to obtain uniform illumination, Wedo theoretical analysis of the surface design of the parameter settings and themicrolenses of the microlens array.3. We select a mask pattern distortion and error method to make the Micro-lens andMicro-lens Array by Comparativing analysis of a variety of mask technology.. First wemake the Micro-lens and Micro-lens array in silico and LED flat light source.4. We give simulation analysis to the new package of the LED light source byusing the TracePro optical software,The simulation data show flat pack structure of theLED light source optical efficiency of40.1%, the microlens array package structure ledlight source to the optical efficiency of61.9%, more54.6%in the latter than the former.While the uniformity of the light intensity distribution of the latter is better than the former.We observe the changes of the optical parameters about the light source throughthe adjustment of the structural parameters of the Micro-lens and sum up relationshipbetween of the parameters of the Micro-lens with the LED light source performanceparameters.
