As the basic protocol for Internet communication at present, TCP/IP, which offersa unified way to communicate through different nodes, is widely applied in variouscommunication environments and has become the basis of Internet. But the originalTCP/IP protocol is designed and realized for the transmission environment of WANInternet, it is unable to optimal fit some communication environments which may havehigher requirements of real-time. This paper focus on a specific VITA communicationenvironment based on real-time local area network, and makes an effort to researchand realize the extended TCP/IP protocol.Firstly, this paper introduced the whole design of VITA real-time communicationsystem, then it introduced the whole design of real-time protocol in VITA real-timecommunication system from the perspective of extended real-time, including how todevelop real-time protocol in the system, how to improve the real-time quality of theprotocol from its implementation mechanism as well as internal algorithm level. Andin the following sections, it detailed the design and implement of the real-time protocol,including the realization of open-source protocol grifting in the main node and nodeenvironment, the implementation of the structure design of how the protocol serve thetransmission, and the change from the real-time aspect of the internal algorithm. In theend, it is the simulation and experimental results of the proposed real-time protocol,and its successful application in the real project system.This paper ultimately achieve real-time protocol in main and sub-nodes of theproject system through grift the excellent open-source real-time protocol LwIPtransplantation into Windows RTX real-time extension system and no-operating virtualmachine environment, Extended real-time of the protocol from its implementation andinternal algorithm level. And finally meet the requirements from VITA real-timecommunication system of the protocol on its functionality and performance.
