With the development of the society, Mobile communication technology hasmade great difference on the production of social and life of people. The systems ofLTE and LTE-Advanced proposed by3rdGenerantion Partnership Project(3GPP)have been widely studied. Compareing with the3G cellular communication systems, the great improvements have made to the LTE-A, such as the strcture of system, thethroughput capacity of the system, the spectrum effectiveness and so on. But in thehot region or the special occasion, the capabolity of the LTE-A coverage is still notenough. In order to solve the problem, the researchers have combined theDevice-to-Device (D2D) communication tecolonogy and the LTE-A system. Thecombining the D2D communication tecolonogy and the LTE-A system will reducethe communication load of the base station, extend coverage area, improve thequality of service for the users at the edge of the cell, and increase the totalthroughput of the cell. The reaearch contents of this paper is the resource allocation optimization forD2D communiation underlaying the LTE-A network. Firstly, the purpose, thesignificance and the achievements of the LTE-A network and the D2Dcommunication are proposed in the chapter one. Secondly, the strcture of theTD-LTE-A is discussed including the structure of the physical layer, the process ofthe physical layer and so on. The interference will become more complex, if wecombine the D2D communication tecolonogy and the LTE-A system. So thirdly, theinterference is analyzed in the cellular system. At last, the algorithm of the resourceallocation optimization is proposed, and this algorithm is the combining of theresource allocation for section and the resource allocation based on the selecting ofthe SINR.Through the theoretical derivation and the numerical simulation, we have gotthe interference relation of the cellular users, the D2D users and the base stationwhen the D2D users reuse the resource of the cellular uplink/downlink. The optimalproportion of the cellular users and the D2D users is also got from the simulation, and the simulation also shows that the total throughput of the cell will have greatimprovement compared to the traditional cellular communication system.
