WLAN is widely used in daily life, and power control technology for WLAN isvery important. Power changed will also affect the contents of the routing table, affecting the communication range of the wireless access equipment and networkoverall system performance. Channel conditions of Wireless network constantlychanging, different users have transmission different requirements, so the fairness ofwireless transmission for the WLAN power control challenges. Research on thedelay constrained, the overall network energy consumption minimization was notthorough enough, the lack of related distributed algorithms. This article studies the WLAN, the delay constrained, the network’s overallenergy consumption minimization for centralized and distributed algorithm. Throughtheoretical analysis, the non-convex optimization problem is transformed into ageneralized geometric programming problem. After analysis, the problem isapproximated as linear programming, and gives global optimization algorithms. ForWLAN, the plurality of wireless access devices within a certain transmission timepredicted channel conditions, given the limited energy minimization latencycentralized line algorithm. Through depth analysis of the problem, by the Lagrangemethod, has been delayed by limited energy minimization distributed power controlalgorithms. Distributed algorithm is applied to the channel condition in the worstscenario, this paper proposes an improved distributed algorithms. Finally, we conducted experiments to verify the theoretical analysis presented inthis paper improved energy minimization distributed delay limited convergence ofthe algorithm, and the algorithm is centralized and globally optimal algorithm, theeffect difference is small.
