Coal Industry acted an important role in national economy,but security problems have seriously restricted the development of coal enterprises.The coalmine reflects its ability to keep continuous, healthy, and all-round development. Though coalmine quality evaluation, we can accurately understand the coalmine quality’status, allocate resources scientifically, reasonably, dynamically, and guarantee the sustainable healthy development of the enterprise. At present, the research on mine quality evaluation is still in the primary stage, there are shortcomings in the evaluation index system and evaluation methods, which hinders the mine to enhance the quality to a large extent. Therefore, it has important theoretical and practical significance to study coalmine quality evaluation and its application.First of all, in order to make clear the functions of various departments, improve the practicability of coalmine quality evaluation system, based on the study of coalmine quality and its evaluation, this paper set up eight evaluation index systems including safety, production, technology, electromechanical, management, logistics and labor union according to the different work system.Secondly, according to the characteristics of artificial neural network data analysis, the paper established the artificial neural network model of coalmine quality evaluation, determined the network structure, training and learning algorithm based on BP algorithm of the evaluation model, combining the powerful function of MATLAB neural network toolbox and the advantages of Visual Basic in the graphical interface development, with Access database as the data management base, by using MATLAB neural network toolbox on the Visual Basic platform, the paper developed the quality evaluation system software.Finally, the coal mine quality evaluation management system software was applied to quality evaluation of Xinzhouyao mine, training and simulating the network with the data collection of10groups of the mine quality evaluation index from Xinzhouyao mine, the simulation results show that the system can evaluate coal mine quality accurately. The results of this study show that:artificial neural network evaluation method has its superiority in coal mine quality evaluation, and the coal mine quality evaluation system is simple and practical, the system can be used for general coal mining enterprises.
