With the development of the world economy, the energy shortage problem ismore obvious, and many countries around the world are seeking new sources ofenergy. Countries have invested for the use and development of ocean energy. Chinaalso vigorously develops ocean energy power generation. So the testing of Oceanenergy power generation equipment becomes very important, while traditionalequipment testing system is not applicable to the distributed remote monitoringenvironment, resulting in that the test is not only costly but inefficient. How toachieve distributed object monitoring, to reach the remote control and centralizedmanagement has become an urgent problem.In order to achieve the test of distributed systems management, and improve theefficiency of the system and software flexibility and scalability, on the basis ofanalysis of the existing equipment testing systems and monitoring systems, this paper,employing hierarchical design and component-oriented design of modern softwaredesign thought, designs and implements a test software for ocean energy powergeneration system. The software is divided into two parts, the client and serverapplications. Client functions include: test information entry, control of the testingprocess, list and graphical curve display of test data which user can choose to print orsave, test data query and download services, data analysis (such as the calculation ofthe conversion efficiency, etc.), the management of user information. The serverapplication consists of four core components, namely initialization, user-layer services,database access and data communication. The user-layer service componentencapsulates external interfaces of the server application, providing to the clientfunctions which include access to database, real-time data acquisition and parsing,and communication with data acquisition layer, etc. In this paper, the design of software for ocean power generation equipmenttesting uses Client/Server architecture, encapsulates various functional modules intocomponents, and accomplishes system configuration and data exchange through XMLfiles, effectively improving the software reuse and scalability. The design is proved tobe feasible and efficient through instances of the application, and provides ahigh-efficiency solution for ocean energy power generation system testing and otherobserving systems.
