Along with the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA), web service as an important implement of SOA is valued by industry and academia. As the key technology of SOA,web services composition has been the focus and hotspot in the field of web services. Traditional web services are lack of semantic description, however, cannot be understood by computer. The composition of web services can only be realized by predefined. The emergence of the semantic web provides the basis for web services intelligence, web services with the help of semantic description language such as OWL-S, can get the expansion of semantic information, allowing web services to become a entity that can understood by computer, thereby for supporting automatic discovery and composition of web services. In this paper, the main work and achievements are as follows:1. A web services composition model based on dynamic semantic network is proposed.On the basis of fully learn from related research results, this paper uses dynamic semantic network(DSN) as a formal tool, describes the process of web services composition under the semantic limit. This paper gives a description of the Web services model, the formal definition of DSN, the process of web service composition based on DSN, and the related algorithm with a example to illustrate.2. A Web services auto-composition framework is designed.To provider complete process of the web services composition lifecycle, a web service auto-composition framework is designed. It includes service registry module, semantic reasoning module, service lookup module, service composition module, service invoking module, etc. And the algorithm is realized in the framework.3. A service rules driven SOWF model is given.This paper defines and describes the service rules, and brings them to web services composition to restrain the process. Then a service rules driven SOWF model is given. This can quickly respond to user demands to build the flexible workflow.Finally, with senior professional and technical qualification application and review process as an example, the service composition algorithm proposed in this paper and service rules used in the process, verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed theory.
