The Research And Design Of The Bank Terminal Management Software

With rapid development of China’s economy and increasingly deepening of the financial reform, the competition among domestic banks and external ones has become much more fiercer. Adapting to the change, service upgrade and improvement of competitiveness have been top priorities of all the banks. According to investigation, many domestic banks suffer from insufficient management system with low efficiency and poor safety performance, which has compromised the efficiency of banks’ overall business operation.Given the above-mentioned problems, the thesis aims to develop a bank account management system based on IT dynamics, software development principle, process and norms. The steps include requirements analysis, preliminary design, detailed design, program development, testing and application of software, along with the software maintenance. The management system, using Visual Fox Pro has many tables including user basic information table, deposit information table, card information table, password table, and it has achieved the functions of Account Opening, Deposit, Withdrawal, Information Modification, Account Closure, Card Application, Card Loss Reporting, therefore, data security and coherence of terminal operations can be guaranteed. With the management system, bank staff can do terminal operations in an easy and efficient way, and informatization and efficiency of terminal operation can be promoted.
