As wireless sensor network is a new field and it has wide range of applications in the industrial, commercial, military and medical. In many applications, the survivability of the wireless sensor network is very rigorous. Therefore, it is essential to study the survivability of the wireless sensor network.Firstly, we give a simple introduction to the basic concept, characteristics, protocols, applications, and development status of the wireless sensor network, followed by an overview of the survival needs of wireless sensor networks. Secondly, analyze the strategy for wireless sensor network node based on the evolutionary game theory, and obtained dominant and leading strategies in wireless sensor networks, with numerical simulation proved the validity of the theoretical analysis. Again, analyze the malicious node in wireless sensor network based on Markov chain, through the method of Markov chain derived the probability of whether to take malicious strategy in the next round of work, then decide whether you want the node isolated from the network, through numerical simulation prove the effectiveness of this method. Finally, analyze the conditions to achieve stability of wireless sensor networks based on the Lyapunov stability theorem, through numerical simulation prove the correctness of the conclusion. The survivability of the wireless sensor network to ensure the security and stability, to make sure that the wireless sensor networks can be normal and orderly work.
