As a new wireless network, the wireless sensor networks (WSN) offer new opportunities and solution to directly interact with the physical environment, which has a wide application prospect and high value in lots of domains like military, environment, health care, commerce. However, due to wireless sensor node is limited by compute capability, storage space and power, and is used in special circumstances, making the safety of it increasingly become the focus of attention.Firstly, the dissertation introduces the basic concepts, features applications, describes the wireless sensor network nodes are facing some of the major security threat and research status, and then a brief overview of the basic evolutionary game theory concept. Secondly, based on the evolutionary game theory, we propose an active defense model that can resolve the external malicious nodes problem. Then we analyze the feasibility of the model. The simulation results verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis. Again, we research the security problem caused by the selfish behavior of nodes in wireless sensor networks. An evolutionary game theory based incentives mechanism demonstrated to make the whole network converge to a good collaboration state eventually. Finally, we analyze the nature of the internal malicious nodes attacks problem from an economic view point. A defensive strategy is added to the rational nodes' strategy set. Through theoretical analysis we proof the feasibility of the mechanism and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the mechanism.
