Multi-touch technology is more and more popular, in many places not suitable for the use of the keyboard and mouse, Multi-touch technology has brought convenience to the interaction between human and computer, this technology has been applied in more and more commercial places and markets.But Multi-touch technology is still facing many problems, such as the clicking accuracy problem, because the contact between finger and screen is a flat not a point, so clicking accuracy is much lower than the traditional cursor.Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to propose a natural interaction technology, using this technology can greatly improve the target hit rate, we name the new technique as Sliding Offset Cursor Technology.The core of Sliding Offset Cursor Technology is combining with the cursor and multi-touch technology. The first thing we do is separate the finger and the cursor. Sliding Offset Cursor Technology requires the separation of the cursor with the fingers, we capture the touch events by global hooks, by forcing the cursor to offset to complete the separation.Secondly, Sliding Offset Cursor Technology defines its own control cursor gestures, by two fingers clockwise complete cursor state switching.Between the cursor and finger contact distance can change, sliding cursor technology uses a custom hands adjustment of the cursor and contact distance gestures.At the same time sliding cursor technology using velocity and acceleration to change between contact and the cursor distance, when the finger sliding faster, the cursor is away from far, similarly, gently slide the finger, the cursor from finger position.The cursor relative to the finger position can be changed, by two fingers with the completion of the movement to change the cursor state, can also change the cursor condition according to the finger movement direction.Sliding Offset Cursor Technique has great advantages in target selection, especially for small target selection.When the method of target too small too directly touch the captured, using Sliding Offset Cursor Technology, using your fingers to control the cursor to the target selection, has high hit percentage.At the same time Sliding Offset Cursor Technology has a natural and smooth operating habits, in the traditional WIMP design environment, the operators can easily control the cursor to hit the target. While goals capture, direct touch can be very accurately hit the target.So when in target selection, according to whether the target relative to the finger determines the size of the sliding cursor technology.When the detection for the target, the cursor will not be offset by direct touch method, click; when the detection for small targets, using sliding cursor cursor cursor control technology away, target selection.In the experiment, we test the Sliding Offset Cursor Technology has higher hit ratio than the Direct Touch Technology.so the new technology has obvious advantage in target selection.
