The rapid development and the popularity of internet have accelerated the arrival of digital age. The storage and diffusion of digital media contents have become very convenient. Digital multimedia security problem has become a very important and challenging research topic. Digital watermarking is an effective way of copyright protection, so it has been a research hotspot in the field of multimedia information security. Zero watermarking is a new type of digital watermarking technology. The difference between general digital watermarking and it lies in that it uses the features of the original image to construct the watermark rather than directly embedding a watermark in the image. So it does not break the original image. Moreover, it works with a third-party trust institution to do the role of copyright protection.In this dissertation, the zero watermarking are my main research objects, its algorithms for IMPRIMATUR copyright protection system in image transform domain are studied, and using the FPGA to realize its processing functions. The main research of this dissertation can be summarized into following aspects:The dissertation sets forth in detail traditional digital watermarking technology. Through presenting the basic concept, classification, characteristics, models, typical algorithms and evaluation methods of digital watermarking, the paper leads an introduction of the digital products copyright protection system.The traditional digital watermarking has a defect, invisibility and robustness are contradictory. So using the zero watermarking realizes the copyright protection as an alternative. In the dissertation, the zero watermarking is studied in three key technologies, it includes color space model, transform domain watermarking algorithm and image scrambling technology. Finally, the zero watermarking project is determined, it contains YCrCb color space model, DCT algorithm and quasi affine scrambling, the specific implementation process is given. Using the Y component of the YCrCb color space model as the characteristics of the image data, using the DCT processing the Y component to obtain the frequency domain coefficient, Experiments verify the feasibility.In view of the present, the digital watermarking algorithms are mostly through software to achieve. The dissertation discusses a way to realize the zero watermarking processing functions based on the FPGA hardware platform. It is aimed at providing a new way about the zero watermarking application. In the implementation process of the whole scheme, software and hardware collaborative design is the main concept, the system hardware structures is constructed by Qsys system integration tool, the system hardware structures is set up by NiosII soft core processor, This dissertation gets the desired results after debugging the system, verify the feasibility of using the FPGA to realize the zero watermarking.
