Frequency-hopping communication is one of the technologies of spread spectrumcommunication, as its strong anti-interception and anti-jamming capability, thetechnology is always be used in the military area. With the development offrequency-hopping technology, it is also be used in the field of civilian communication.In the Frequency-hopping communication system, if one side wants to communicatewith another side, they must achieve frequency-hopping synchronization. TheSynchronization technology is one of the most critical technologies, the performance ofsynchronization technology directly affects the performance of the hole system. On theone hand, the research of frequency hopping synchronization technology guarantees thecommunication of friends, on the other hand it is used to prevent the tracking or captureof enemies. Therefore, the research of frequency-hopping communicationsynchronization technology has its important application value and significance.This thesis mainly studied the synchronization technology of frequency-hoppingcommunication, and the main work include the follows:1. Based on the theory of frequency-hopping, The synchronization methods of thefrequency-hopping are analyzed, include the algorithms of sliding correlationacquisition, matched filter acquisition, waiting search acquisition and a synchronizationmethod based on the Time of Day(TOD) are analyzed, the performances of thesynchronization methods are derived, include the average acquisition time, the captureprobability, the undetected probability and the false alarm probability. and theperformance of the synchronization methods are contrasted longitudinally andtransversely, the advantages and disadvantages of the synchronization methods arediscussed in different situations.2. The SIMULINK tool of MATLAB is used to simulate the synchronizationmethods, the waveform diagram of simulation result is drew, at last the results areanalyzed in detail.3. Based on the theory of frequency-hopping communication, combine theadvantages of self-synchronization and synchronization method, a synchronizationmethod based on system frequency table is presented in the thesis, the capture time is short and the capture probability is high. Based on the theory of this method, theperformance of this method is analyzed, at last the SIMULINK tool of MATLAB isused to simulate the synchronization method, and the simulation results are analyzed indetail, at the same time, for the cleanliness of the interface and the convenience ofmodifying the parameters of the model, the GUI(Graphical User Interface) interface isimplemented for the model.
