This topic refers to the complex network environment, using high-bandwidthmicrowave transmission equipments and switches to build the backbone network whosescale is equivalent to division-level, with all kinds of radios interconnection to provideuninterrupted voice and data conmmunications support, and forming "on the move"communications network;and through airborne platform and space satellite to expandcommunications guarantee range, and building all levels, multiple services, and multiplecommunications means coexistence integrated network architecture. In this project, we design a set of network management software for this network. This software mainly monitors the whole network state in real-time network running, and engages in monitoring, setting, and adjusting running parameters of all networkdecives, and ensures the whole network effectively and reliably running on control allthe time.As the main subject of the network is from a variety of mobile and fixedmicrowave radio equipments, there are network channel instability, relatively narrowbandwidth, a huge scale network, complex network environment, highperformance-demanding characteristics and so on. We combine the subject’s actualnetwork environment, and take into account history factors for equipment management. In order to minimize the network channel occupation and to save resources, this projectadopts a customized protocol for communications, and uses classified and distributedpartition management framework, and improves performances of the networkmanagement software by message passivation, message double-buffering and otherproprietary design techniques etc. Ultimately verified by the actual network, the resultsshow that the network management system can be used in large complex networkenvironment to adequately manage the network, and can efficiently run onhigh-performance and for a long time.
