Drive systems with elastically loads are widely used in Gravure printing whose machineshave a long drive shaft, CNC machine tools, all-electric injection molding machines and otherlarge-scale use in which ball screw are widely used. In addition, in the case of changes in loadinertia, motor inertia and load inertia that does not match would have a similar effect.The elastic torsion drive has a key feature is that there are torsional oscillations, the pres-ence of torsion shocks the accuracy greatly and makes the mechanical control more difficult.How to suppress the reverse shocks, make the system meet the need to steady and dynamicperformance is the core issue in the research of flexible drive.For structure of experimental platform which is designed for the study of flexible drivesystem,a model based on the state space is established and a controller based on statefeedback is designed. Besides, an integral feed-back is used to check the controller, whichenhances the robustness of the system. Robust and fast speed control for2-and3-masstorsional system based on state-space method. The analysis about how to place the pole makespole placement more convenient. And for frequency analysis, the model based on state spaceis translated into model based on transfer function.Experimental curve is in good agreement with the simulation curve, and the closed-loopsystem can not only effectively suppress the torsional oscillations and have a strong ability tosuppress the ringing and constant disturbance, the controller, indicating that the controller hasa good performance.Designed controller to suppress the torsional oscillation is a dedicated controller, but theresearch method is generic control strategy that can be used for other field where needingsuppressing torsional oscillations of elastic torsion. Analysis of the intrinsic properties to thesystem provides useful lessons for in-depth study elastic reverse the system.
