With the consummation and development of fractional order calculustheory, it was wildly applied in many fields in recent years. The most outstandingapplication of this theory is fractional order control in the automatic control filed.System can be more accurately described with fractional order differential equationsdue to the “unlimited memory” characteristic of fractional order calculus and thefact that most real systems are non-integer order. Under the above background, thefollowing contents were studied in this paper.1The KZSY-FK-101type assembly line heating furnace was selected ascontrol object. A close loop control system based on SIEMENS300type PLC wasdesigned and the whole system communicates according to PROFIBUScommunication protocol. An OPC sever which provides an interface to share dataresource with other system and blocks was also established.2For single furnace chamber, a step signal was inputted to the system and theresponse data was sampled. Then, the integral order system mathematical mode andfractional order system mathematical mode can be calculated according to theexperiment sample data and system identification theory.3Integral order and fractional order controller was designed for both integralorder and fractional order system. The time domain performance of four close loopcontrol system was simulated and analyzed. After comparing the performance of thefour sets, a most suitable combination of system mathematical mode and controllermode can be obtained.4Human-machine interface was designed based on the KINGVIEW software, which can display the control parameters and result with graph.
