With the development of the society, the scale of electrical automation equipmentis getting larger, and the status of power source environment is increasingly complex,making it harder to maintain the equipment and power source environment. So thereneed to be an effective way to solve the problem. Basing on the current development ofthe power source environment monitoring technology and combining the mainstreamcommunication technology at present, a remote power source environment monitorbased on Ethernet and embedded control is proposed by this paper, which makes itcome to true that high efficiently centralized monitoring of power environment andequipment.According the actual demand and making a contrastive analysis of severalmainstream communication technology, a design scheme based on Ethernet andembedded system is established in this paper. Then there is the design of hardware ofthe monitor: a LPC1768as the core; integrating temperature-humidity sensor, fandetection, switch detection, voltage and current measuring module; implementing theinformation collection of equipment and power environment with the serial bus andnimbus; controlling the external equipment by relay and MOSFET switch; and anEthernet port for remote communications. After that is the software part: the functionof information collection and control is implemented through the drivers of peripheralcircuit; the remote communication is based on the TCP/IP protocol and Socket; and theinteractive access in B/S mode which based on CGI.After a final function test, the monitor meets the demand of centralizedmonitoring of power environment.
