As the long term evolution technology of the third generation mobilecommunication, LTE (Long Term Evolution) is the most important developmentproject of the new technology which3GPP started in recent years. As a branch of LTE,TD-LTE that is called the long term evolution of TD-SCDMA is an internationalmobile communication standard with Chinese background. TD-LTE adopted manyadvanced technologies, such as OFDM, MIMO and AMC. As one of the keytechnology, Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) provides the effective supportfor the transmission of high speed and high reliability.To begin with, the key technologies of TD-LTE are described in this paper.What’s more, the fundamental principles of HARQ are studied in this paper with theirtype and retransmission mechanism in TD-LTE system. On the basis of research onuplink HARQ process of TD-LTE system, it is focused on that the sub-frameconfigurations of uplink and downlink have an impact on HARQ transmissionperformance. Through the simulation of transmission sequence of uplink HARQ in thesituation of three kinds of different parameters, the impact on transmissionperformance which different parameters have is concluded in this paper, and theconclusion is that it is most advanced in data rate and transmission performance foruplink HARQ in the sub-frame configuration6in the situation of different parameters.Afterwards, the test on the data transmission of uplink is done in the environment ofsimulating network with the different sub-frame configuration in TD-LTE system, andthe results are the same to the simulations.Finally, the research on the protocol conformance test of uplink HARQ is donefor the integrity of test on uplink HARQ in TE-LTE system, and it can support thereliability of the test on data transmission.
