The thesis intends to combine engineering design and operational management needs of Xinjiang KizilReservoir in the application of scenario modeling, virtual interaction, such as virtual reality animationroaming related technologies, based on the design and implementation of Kizil Reservoir virtual displaysystem. Development of the system is based on the guiding ideology of architectural blueprint and physicalstructures as the basis for reservoir engineering and pipe transportation workflow main line, in accordancewith reasonable technical route to achieve Kizil Reservoir virtual system design and function display. First,the use of the reservoir layout Planning graph, spillway, flood sediment culverts, power plants and othermajor building design drawings and related data, based on3ds Max for solid modeling; Secondly,associated with the various parameters of setting and model (Such as light, material, texture, etc). Themodel will be introduced in three-dimensional animation design software Lumion for animation editing toachieve animation roaming; Again, import the spillway, spillway culvert flushing, power plants and othermajor hydraulic structure models to Converse3D to carry out script edition, the relevant parameter settings,scene model properties control and lens conversion operations, interactive virtual display system control,collision detection etc. Finally, through Converse3D virtual reality platform effectively integrateenvironmental and model built system to achieve various physical models of Kizil Reservoir virtualanimation show.During the system development process, mainly conducted the4aspects of work:1) Reviewed and analyzed virtual reality visualization of water conservancy, According to the status andcharacteristics of Kizil Reservoir develop technical route, and in accordance with the requirements ofthe development of virtual reality display system of Kizil Reservoir.2) On the reservoir main buildings conducted three-dimensional modeling. Access to relevant data andinformation, including architectural and structural maps, historical reinforcement during the datacollection by calling the textures and3ds Max software to create realistic and accuratethree-dimensional models for effective integration of the entire reservoir modeling.3) To achieve automatic roaming of the entire reservoir scene conducted animation design. By applyingLumion dimensional animation software, import the scene3ds Max model file, and make animationediting, and ultimately produce a three-dimensional animation scene roaming video.4) Studied interactive control function of Kizil reservoir. Major hydraulic structures in Converse3Dplatform for browsing and editing, interact randomly with the reservoir roaming video sceneanimations effectively combined to achieve a controlled and interactive animation features.
