In the traditional data transmission and industrial automation control field, there are tens of thousands of data collection, communication and automatic control equipment are data communication, data exchange and data management which communicate through the Meter Bus or CAN. Although the Meter Bus and CAN has some inherent advantages, such as low power consumption, low cost, simple design, wide application. However, with the development of social needs, system stability, large flow, long distance, high speed, high integration, strong interaction and resource sharing have become inevitable, which result in that made the Meter Bus or CAN communication can not meet the demand of the society.At the same time, with the rapid development of TCP/IP network, Ethernet function which supports TCP/IP protocol has been greatly improved, and has extended to every corner of the society. Compared with the Meter bus communication and CAN communication, TCP/IP network is based on the complex environment design, with automatic correction function, stable communication quality.100M is currently the standard configuration of TCP/IP network and1000M is also in the rapid popularization. The rapid transmission speed can not be achieved by Meter Bus communication and CAN communication. Moreover, open TCP/IP network is very strong, as long as access to the Internet, communication distance can be extended indefinitely, so as to achieve the greatest degree of information and resource sharing.Based on this, this is the current domestic and international research main point on measurement and control technology which makes full use of the Meter Bus communication and CAN communication advantages and joins with open TCP/IP network. We call it the control technology for the network. The thesis based on the embedded Linux system, designs and implements the communication conversion between Meter Bus and TCP/IP and between CAN and TCP/IP network, which accomplishes the data communication of Meter Bus and CAN bus with the TCP/IP network.The system designed in this paper has strong practicability, good scalability, low price, which not only keeps the original Meter Bus, CAN communication and TCP/IP network advantages, but also achieves the union goals--maximum advantage, and provides methods and means for data transmission and good industrialization automation control related applications, and has a good application prospect and market value.
