The current Electronic Science and Technology is developing fast. With thepopularity of embedded systems, the functionality of smart handheld devices are morediverse, and the time requirements on the use of handheld devices is also increasing.Because the battery performance is limited by the extent of technology, the batterypower has not keep up with the demand for handheld now. Therefore reduce the powerdissipation of embedded systems is an increasingly important issue.Android system is this most select handheld mobile device. The system mostimportant power-down mode is the way of power management. This article has aresearch in the android system power management solutions. This article has theanalysis of the underlying driver. The board-level driver and power managementmechanism has been lined. This article realized the method that the system modechanged into low-power mode of the underlying drivers. At the same time this articlehas the study of dynamic voltage and frequency scaling. This technique is veryimportant way to reduce power consumption in the system running state. Theboard-level driver and the dynamic voltage and frequency scaling mechanism havebeen lined. This article has the method of optimize the mechanism. And reduce morepower consumption.
